Fibers that do not require the use of any pesticides or chemicals to grow. They are disease free and naturally resistant to mildew and mold.
Hazardous waste endangers the health and safety of our environment. Some chemicals that are used everyday are considered hazardous waste. Chemicals and pesticides invade our drinking water and groundwater, polluting fish and other animals. Organic and eco-fibers grow without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Organic and eco-fabrics are biodegradable.
"Made of substances that will decay relatively quickly as a result of the action of bacteria and break down into elements such as carbon that are recycled naturally." quote from Encarta, World English Dictionary
Synthetic fibers let off harmful toxins when they degrade.
