I've just started reading Dave Ramsey's EntreLeadership. You can go to his website to gather more information. I hope this helps.

Stephen,
This is a problem that I ran into decades ago. While there are many great books on small business and leadership out there, I could never really find anything that stripped away the theory and really taught a small business owner what they needed to know to profitably run their business. So, I had to put the program together myself!

While the book is not complete, the basic concept is available in our video Tuning Your Revenue Engine http://dinoeliadis.net/business-improvement/small-business-management/ . There is plenty of support on the website, and the blog http://yoursmallbusinessgrowth.com/ gives plenty of great reading that is currently being organized into the book.

I hope people find this useful. And, feedback would be a great help while we beginning pulling things together for the book! - Dino

I just finished Midas Touch which is cowritten by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. There's a great chapter on branding in particular.

See my post Six Books on Leadership Worth Actually Reading in the Resource Center. I really liked E Myth. Also, the Lean Startup by Eric Ries is great.
